@louisethompson: What a privilege it is to have your bed taken over by a tiny human who thinks it’s the safest place in the world. 👶🏼🌙🪺🛌💫 Imagine the parent police trying to tell you that THIS is a terrible idea. Yes, I may not have slept through the night fully in 4 years, but this is the face I get to wake up to and that makes it feel like a fair trade. Plus we may only get one turn to do this parenting thing and the days turn into years faster than the speed of light so I’m soaking it all up. We manage to make it work and we manage to achieve the things we want and need to. I have a confession (I won’t pretend I’m perfect)…I’m quite looking forward to taking a melatonin tonight - I’ve just been prescribed them today because I’m doing an embryo freeze cycle atm and the menopur jabs are making me WIRED at night.
