I listened carefully at the dialogue between the couple and I noticed she raise a point saying that he often focus on his family affairs especially when she is hit with a problem that needs his attention. He should learn to balance himself. Like at that point he should actually apologize to her , think deeply and find ways to resolve things .

in a relationship conversation is very important, not attacking but a good conversation, for the fact that the guy is distant you as a lady should take a pause and ask him " babe are you Okay, can you tell me what's bothering you?" now that's what I call an open conversation and you are giving him the opportunity to speak up and rely on you and he can count on you whenever he's going through some challenges. then be appreciative even for the little thing, the more you appreciate your partner the more he/she will do for you and give you that attention.
