The Philippines is something and a place that I've been in love with my whole life. Growing up in a predominantly non-diverse part of the United States, I was identified as Filipina first and foremost. I often had to point where the Philippines was on a map to my peers, and I always felt a sense of belonging and home. I chose to pack my life into balikbayan boxes and suitcases because I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people, and the fact that we need to create local opportunities here so that people don't have to go abroad and be separated from their families in order to survive and thrive. If I were given the title of Miss Universe Philippines, I promise to be a public servant for all.

From - @Renz:Taguig's answer is similar to Athisa and Pauline, while Pampanga's answer is similar to MMD, tho iba ang pag construct, pero yung thought ay similar! The reason why La Union won is because she wanted to serve the people, while the others wanted to be an inspiration! the difference between bea and others is that bea wanted to work for the people while others will try to work on themselves to be an inspiration and make the people realize that filipino have so much to offer! La Union deserves the crown, and her answer was on point. the question was why it is still worth representing the Philippines, and she clearly explained that she chose to stay and build her life in the Philippines because she believes in the limitless potential of the Filipino people. she emphasized the importance of creating opportunities locally so Filipinos won’t have to leave their families just to survive and succeed, and that is exactly what makes it worth it. so before saying her answer was “off” or “malayo,” sana may proper comprehension muna. she directly answered the question.
