Dear TikTok family, I know. I disappeared. One minute I was an Innkeeper— fluffing pillows, cooking pretty breakfasts, welcoming guests, and pretending I had my life somewhat professionally arranged. Then Hawaiʻi said, “That’s cute.” And apparently promoted me from Innkeeper to Storm Chaser. Not metaphorically. Like… actual storm. Actual coordinates. Actual wind speeds. Actual me staring at the Pacific like I suddenly work for the National Weather Service. 😂 I traded room turnovers for storm tracks, guest check-ins for weather advisories, and “Would you like coffee?” for… “WHERE IS THE EYE NOW?” Then Lala came. Then the aftermath came. Then the cleanup. Then the Inn chapter ended. And somewhere in there, my job description apparently expanded to include amateur plumber, emergency cleanup crew, humidity negotiator, and occasional observer of ceilings that seemed increasingly interested in becoming floors. 😂 Because apparently, when Hawaiʻi humidity gets involved, mold doesn’t knock. It just moves in. There were refrigerators, freezers, water problems, wet things, heavy things, mysteriously growing things, and a whole lot of “Well… I guess we’re fixing this now.” By the end, I was tired in the kind of way coffee can no longer negotiate with. So somewhere between storm prep, storm cleanup, moving my belongings, cleaning refrigerators, watching weather models, tracking coordinates, calling the plumber, trying to keep things dry, and wondering what exactly my job title had become… I stopped posting. And now? It’s strangely quiet. No guests. No breakfasts to make. No rooms calling my name. No Innkeeper duties waiting for me. And in that quiet, I realized something. I MISS MY TIKTOK FAMILY. Somewhere along the way, you became part of my everyday life. My people. My little pocket-sized family who has followed along through the beautiful, the ridiculous, the hard, the funny, and the completely unexpected chapters of this life. So… hi. Remember me? 😂 Your former Innkeeper, accidental meteorologist, part-time plumber’s assistant, literal storm chaser, humidity survivor, and woman who now has an oddly personal relationship with latitude and longitude… is checking back in. A little tired. A little weathered. But still laughing. I missed you. Miss u. Luv u. ❤️🌺🌊 #lifeasiknowit #fKmornNcOFFee #hi #missu #loveu
