Nah I gotta stop you at trying to say zombies are the most common monster, because even that isn't true. Like half the games don't even have zombies, and the ones that do barely have zombies as a focus after the first hour or two. Resident evil is a monster franchise, not a zombie franchise. It hasn't been about zombies in a long time, arguably ever. This director knows how to make good horror movies. This is going to be a very good monster horror movie, and it's loosely set in the RE universe. Considering how awful all the other RE movies are, it seems insane that fans would complain about this one because it's not a game adaptation.

As a fan of Cregger, I’m was very excited for this movie and still am after the release of this teaser; but I took him at his word when he said it would follow the “lore” and it looks like it will, in parts.
