I'm divorced, I have a daughter from the marriage. My ex husband and I came from a broken family, therefore I always made sure that my daughter saw her dad. We didn't get on as husband & wife, but that's not my daughter's fault. We never fought about when it came to seeing our daughter. Alhumdulillah

This is so true. My ex wife does this with my 8 year old son. (source: my 8 year old son let it slip to me, he looked really anxious when he told me so I didnt push it any further).
