This is extremely helpful for troubleshooting when something goes wrong. you'll instantly be able to tell what state the PCs in by punching the code online to find out what's wrong. Reason 2: Solid VRMs. Also known as Voltage Regulator Modules, these convert your PSUs 12V power into lower, clean stable voltage for your CPU, usually ranged from 1.2- 1.4. Its job is to make sure your system is safe at peak wattage. High-quality ones such as the ones shown in the picture are essential for a testing rig because higher end CPUs can draw more power. Having weak VRMs can cause thermal throttling and crashes. Reason 3: Start, reset, safe and slow mode buttons on motherboard. This is very convenient when testing new parts because it saves time from pressing them on the top i/o. I cant tell you how many times I use this feature.
