We do not pour from empty cups, because Christ gives us everything we need. Trust in Christ and he will bring you the person you need. Christ’s home is open every Sunday and people always come. We live in a world where being kind is seen as toxic because society is corrupted and doesn't deserve good people, so you don't have a choice to get a door and protect yourself. But it doesn't mean that you are good that you don't love yourself. If you are strong enough to remain the soft, gentle person that you are and don't allow anyone to affect you, I see you and I'm proud of you! Remember that Jesus was put on a cross even though he was perfect.

Oof. The ‘house with no doors’ analogy really puts boundaries into perspective. A lot of us were taught that constantly giving makes us good people, but eventually you realize it can also make your life feel completely unsupported.
