@kp.thefnp: OFFICIALLY A FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER 🥼🩺 I am pleased to announce that I am now apart of the 8% of black family nurse practitioners. I am the first in my cohort that sat for what felt like the hardest board exam in March and my license JUST posted so it’s REAL! My journey has not been the easiest. I lost my grand-dad, god dad, a handful of cousins and almost my dad in this program 💔🕊️. My dad successfully underwent a life-saving heart ❤️‍🩹transplant and was able to pin me as a nurse practitioner. So this is personal! This program was a hard balance between being a full-time travel nurse, life and going to clinicals 3+ days a week. With the help of GOD, my family, boyfriend and my friends you all carried me through. I have accepted my first full time job as a NP and over the moon excited!
