Lately I've been going to many interviews and on every single one of them i hear something like "We're not sure if our company can provide stable employment right now how do you feel about working here for only two months?" Just wasting my time at this point.

Not just paying the bills. My grandfather worked a manufacturing job. He had pension (that my grandma is still benefiting from after his death), health insurance, and enough pay to raise a family on one income and still have hobbies. He worked at the same place for 25+ years. I’ve been TRYING to stay at a company for a long time and I get laid off , on average, every 4-5 years. You can’t advance and build a career if you have to always be applying for new jobs and worrying about your bills.

it depends on what the full time job is. I worked full time in the 90s at a movie theater and I could barely cover my bills. there was nothing left over
