It’s probably still in the other box. When they authenticated they probably never even had the strap and that’s why they couldn’t authenticate. I bet it’s still wrapped the way you sent.

Ebay “lost” an antique robe I sold for around that same amount. I shipped to their shipping hub and a few weeks later I saw it listed on another seller’s account. They refunded the buyer and let me keep my money, but I was still livid over the whole situation.

they opened the box you sent and the strap prob was at the bottom under packing stuff so they missed it and binned the box and contents. its prob why bags are nearly always sent with the strap inside the bag. their due diligence sucks.
