Have you heard of Plex? Basically you could upload all of your DVDs and then watch them on a format that looks like streaming. It takes some work but it’s amazing. It’s free if you just watch from home but you could also pay a subscription fee and get to watch them from anywhere.

Switched back to an mp3 player last August, already had CDs to burn on. I now have a ‘05 chrysler mini van which means no aux so I got to teach my younger sister the beauty of mix burning and curating music mixes with genuine intention. She is now starting her own CD collection and asking me to set her up with an mp3 player and to teach her how to burn mixed CDs

Those are rookie numbers lol. I digitized mine and used blurays as data for storage. So far I've filled 22 400 disc binders n growing 🤣

You should also back them up on a HDD because disc rot is a thing. You can also make a PLEX server to make it more convenient to watch when traveling.

I prefer to have a cord that isn't hardwired into the drive. it's planned obsolescence since the cord will fail first.
