Ofc your gonna have marks like that and ofc your gonna see through the numbers or letters depends on how light or dark a colour is and you also have to shake the pen before using it to help the ink flow

yeah.. the reason they didnt work for you is the marker stand, you need to keep them horizontal. Languo are SCRATCHY I hate them.

I use the Guangna (want others) they are ok but the lighter colours never cover the numbers (I have the classics colour by number book so far) have Languo 0.6 tips but need bigger or the brush acrylics

I am not getting very far with my Bridgerton colour by numbers page. Picked a page in the middle of the book as my sacrificial test page. Just art acrylics - brush tip lacked precision. Languo Gel - 0.6 nib, does not cover lines and shiny. Most recent purchase was the 0.7 nib Languo Acrylic gel pens, literally just tried, coverage not great, little white lines, need to go over. Then this popped up at same price for 90 pens. Maybe CBN just not for me…😢

It could also be the paper type tbh. It’s always recommended to use mix media paper for acrylic markers

The areas you colored with your preferred markers are significantly smaller than the larger space you were coloring. Not a fair comparison

tbh these just look like acrylic markers to me? storing them on their side is optimal tho. i don’t think you’ll find any more joy with gesso as a primer - gesso is visually similar to a white acrylic and would cover the lines. it’s best used on porous surfaces in my experience, would harden the page a lot without a gum stretch.
