Hmm but wouldn't you have to send the information faster than light to actually send the information to the past? Problem is as far as we know nothing travels faster than light or can... however... entanglement... also with a large enough gravitational field you might also be able to send something ftl bit that's like blackhole levels of gravitation... bit technically in a vacuum in space if you can create an artificial gravity field infront of a craft it will accelerate past C eventually as with constant acceleration.

You also have to take space into account. Say for example you successfully travel through time, now you gotta hope you’re going to land on solid ground. The universe is expanding, a few thousands years ago the earth was in a different position in space. Even the sun(the whole solar system) is moving across space.
