I think it will be the fuel shortages. There will be investment in more mass transit due to necessity. Cars will be forced to be more fuel efficient. Or electric cars will become even more prevalent too.

They’re putting tech in new cars that monitor you while driving. So used cars will be more desireable and they will probably jack up the prices. It’s kind of not a good thing!

i guess on the positive, it might place more emphasis on public transport (esp hoping for plans to get a proper tram / train system lined up or getting electric / hybrid buses if it is specifically the fuel crisis that is causing these issues)

It'll be because of the restriction of fuel and resources. Here in the UK they keep trying to stop the masses driving cars but public transport is terrible here and so very expensive, its cheaper to have a car but theyre making that more expensive so its like they dont want us going anywhere.
