For over 7 years, we’ve homeschooled our children—ever since God first called me in 2018 through a dream that changed everything. That call shaped our home, our rhythms, and so much of our journey. We’ve tried the public school setting before back in Florida, but to be honest, it was hard. Our children experienced bullying, and they were even targeted for what we do as influencers. It was a painful season, and it reminded us why obedience to God’s voice mattered so much. So even now, as we take this leap of faith in a new state, we carry some apprehension. The idea of sending our children into a traditional school setting—entrusting not just one teacher, but an entire system to pour into them 7–8 hours a day—has never fully sat right with us. These are the children God entrusted to us, and releasing that much authority over them has always been one of our deepest hesitations. But after much prayer, fasting, and listening to our children’s hearts, we’ve decided to try again. This time, we’re choosing to trust God in a new way. This season is unfamiliar and it stretches us, but we know that fear doesn’t get the final say—faith does. We don’t have all the answers, but we believe God will cover our children, go before them, and protect them as we walk into this new season. To every parent navigating change: you’re not alone. We’re choosing to walk by faith, not by fear, and to keep trusting God with what matters most—our children. ‘The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.’ — Deuteronomy 31:8 #homeschool #homeschoolmom #familytime #familythings #momlife
