@brianesahara: Sunny update 🐢❤️‍🩹 For anyone just joining us, Sunny recently went through life-saving surgery to place a feeding tube due to a serious blockage, and he’s also been battling a respiratory infection with a weakened immune system. It’s been a really intense and scary time for him. Right now, he’s about the same. He’s still a little groggy and lethargic, and not quite himself energy-wise. He is taking his fluids well, and his feeding tube has been going okay with only a little resistance, which we’re grateful for. But overall, he’s still very low on energy and focused on resting and healing. We live in an apartment with stairs, and Sunny is a very big, heavy boy, so getting him outside safely isn’t simple. That’s why we’re waiting on a special, strong gurney to arrive so we can carefully bring him downstairs. Sunlight and a little movement, even just 10 to 15 minutes a day, are really important for his recovery and digestion, so we’re hoping that will help him start gaining strength again. Thank you so much to everyone who’s been supporting Sunny, sending love, and keeping him in your thoughts. We feel it, and we’re so grateful for every single one of you. If you feel called to help in any way, there’s a link in our bio. Even sharing or sending kind words means the world to us. ❤️ #tortoise #tortoisesoftiktok #PetsOfTikTok #pet
