as a diabetic the shorter the needle size the longer it will take for you body to absorb the reason you use longer ones is because the closer to your muscle the quicker and more even it will distribute through the body shorter needle size will tent to bulge under the skin for longer and slower release into the body hope that helps sorry I just came across you vid and wanted to offer a bit of advice 🥰
