It’s true. I loooved this film because it felt meaningful and realistic as it addressed the troubles and terrible changes the entertainment industry is facing, and it was indeed bc I wanna be in it. It’s true the love interest was so bad, and I’m very sure they only put it to avoid the Mirandy allegations 😭 bc truly Andy was making heart eyes at Miranda for majority of the movie 🥺

the firs tmovie focused on andys interiority tho not necessarily fashion too tho its surfaced that fahsion is a seirous corporate driven job its jsut as frought with exploitstion and careerism. and made fashio nrelevant in the covnersation of labor politics. so the new film actually respects the lienage of the old one.
