The original backrooms was definitely about keeping your sanity. It wasn’t monsters, but how scary it is to be on your own. How your mind can manipulate sounds and make you paranoid. I feel like that’ll be a much better movie than just running away from monsters

Of course the film is based on Kane Pixels’ interpretation. But a fun fact is that the very first take of the Backrooms didn’t have entities exist at all iirc.
