i used to get stalked at my old job and had to hide from him all the time. it finally stopped when my male supervisor (he was an older gay guy and truly the sweetest & best person) practically yelled at him & told him that he needed to leave me alone or he would call the police & have him arrested. my stalker was in his late 40s maybe early 50s & i was 21 at the time. a year or two later i seen a news article about him being arrested because he had kidnapped & kept a girl close to my age locked in his shed
