I think the show is gonna be much more emotionally grounded than the films, which was one of my big issues with the films across the board… all the thornier more difficult moments from the books were sanded down and softened and made more palatable. I don’t think the series is going to do that just going off of what we’ve seen so far. And I think movie only people are going to be surprised at how much deeper the story is and how much more thematically rich it is.
