its not just dried jello, its similar. Its agar agar sugar, and flavoring thats dried out. Its called Kohakuto and is a Japanese candy. A lot of people arent fond of the texture but id encourage you to try a different brand with better flavorings!

The crystal candy is made with Agar Agar, which is a vegan alternative to gelatine! I think they use it instead of gelatine because it dries out (hence the texture) much more than regular gummies, so it allows the candies to form the hard outer shell (I could be totally wrong, but I remember reading about it haha)
