I don’t know why there’s a “brutalism” tag, but this has nothing to do with brutalism. It doesn’t just mean big Soviet structures. It’s a specific architectural style that was popular around most of the world from the 1950s to about the the 1970s. The name is from the French “béton brut”, meaning “raw concrete” and it has nothing to do with the meaning of the English word “brutal”.
