He said Mazwi was kidnapped while he was on his way to the bank. The suspects are believed to be using hijacked buildings. Two Malawian nationals were guarding the victim. Police say the person behind the kidnapping is known to Mazwi. Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner Tommy Mthombeni said they could not trace Mazwi because he did not have a cellphone with him. He also said police checked video footage and looked at his bank records to see if any money was withdrawn.
