A random rich lady paid for my flight home when I was stranded at an airport when I was 18. I was crying into my lap and she just walked up to me and asked me what’s wrong and I told her I just wanted to go home and she bought my flight. Even gave me money for snacks. Angel in disguise.

when i was in a long distance relationship and sobbing at the airport this tiny older lady came up to me and gave me the biggest hug and said “he’ll be back, i saw how he looked at you.” no longer long distance and we are married now, i think about her a lot.

I was crying so hard at the airport once that I had to put my head down. This stranger noticed me crying so he went and grabbed me napkins. when he walked by, I had my head down, he put the napkins in front of me. Never said a word, but he has no idea how much this little gesture meant to me.

I was crying on the airplane as we took off (first time flying alone at 13) and this big man I was scared to sit beside asked me if I wanted one of his headphones to watch Zootopia with him 😭❤️I hope his pillow is always cold.

I lost my best friend recently, I found out while at dinner with my family. I was outside trying to call people to tell them the news while crying. A woman with curly hair got out of her car asking if I was okay. I told her I had just lost my friend. She then continued to tell me she had gone through the same thing a few months prior. A total stranger held me and asked me about my friend. Her favorite color, name, age, hobbies, etc. I never got her name, but that woman felt like a blessing

Was having a bad day. Sobbing hella holding my puppy in this packed Starbucks drive thru.. before I pulled up I tried to clean up my face.. got to the window and they said “I hope your day gets better. A customer paid for your drink” and handed me a larger size of the drink I ordered and a pup cup.

there's this one time where I see a little kid trying to cross a big road, so I pretend I was also crossing the road and they followed beside me. little did they know I'm also scared when it comes to crossing big roads but I act brave for other people in need

a mother noticed me crying on a train trying to get home, it was an overwhelming day and i had sunglasses on to hide that i wasn’t okay. she was with her little boy and she had him walk over to me and he gave me a chocolate bar. i smiled at him and said thank you - then i looked at her and told her how grateful i was. i think about them all the time.

i was on a train last week and i’m going through a rough period. The guy next to me, who kept writing on his notebook, must have noticed because when I got off he handed me a poem he had written for me, basically telling me to stay alive.

Yesterday my husband got stuck on a wet sand road, I went to bring him tools to help and somehow also got my car stuck and a STRANGER helped us for 2+ HOURS in a storm and another stranger stopped to help too and they ended up getting both cars out for us 🥹 (I tried to call roadside but no drivers were available)

I remember walking downtown, completely exhausted due to upcoming finals and doubting myself about my career. I guess it was written all over my face cause a dude in a suit passed by me saying "you got this, don't give up". Just recently, I graduated as an engineer, thank you man in a suit

Once I was on a plane and I didn’t buy the wifi but the girl next to me was watching a movie on her iPad propped up on her tray table. She had subtitles on and although i couldn’t hear it, out of boredom I found myself watching the movie hoping she wouldn’t notice. When we were landing and they made us close our tray tables, instead of putting her iPad in her lap to continue watching, she held it at an angle that was just awkward enough that I could tell it was for me to be able to still see. I thought that was just so kind, we never spoke a word to each other.

my nine year relationship ended, and i was having a really hard time with it at work WEEKS later. all of my coworkers pitched in and bought me a massive bouquet of flowers to show me they cared and loved me. i cried more LOL.

i got dumped by the love of my life, a few later i was sobbing in the managers office, and my coworker overheard me crying. a few hours later, she asked on the headset, “what’s everyone’s favorite ice cream on a rainy day” we all took turns describing our perfect ice cream cone. about an hour later, she came up to me and handed me the exact ice cream i described (mint with chocolate chips and brownie chunks) and told me to go on break. on the top of the lid it had “you are loved, always and everywhere” written on the top. best coworker ever.

i have a tattoo where i use to SH that says “you are loved”. i used to work as a waitress in a bar so shorts in the summer were expected. i had relapsed and you could see them by the tattoo. a little girl, maybe 8, wrote on a napkin “you are loved” and drew little doodles on it. their parents tipped me well too. i kept that napkin in my apron every single day i worked. i haven’t relapsed since. it is those little kind gestures that stick with you💜

I was at a bar once and this women was complaining about how mean her boyfriend was to her and before I left I slid a napkin to her that I wrote on and it said you are full of worth and deserve to be loved with kindness and 2 weeks later she just so happen to come into the store i worked at and she recognized me hugged me and pulled the napkin out of her purse and said she keeps it with her wherever she goes 😭😭 I cried

I was having a bad day doordashing and barely had made any moment when I got an order to pick up some cookies for McDonald’s at 2 am end of my shift. They had tipped a lot and the order ended up being like $20 total. Halfway to the address they texted me: “The address is fake. The cookies are for you! Thank you for doing what you do! :)” and I cried
