I don’t like flowers, my husband has never bought me flowers. He buys me things I like instead (plants, snacks, burritos, books, clothes etc). He actually loves flowers so I used to get him some and now I take our little boy out to choose him some randomly. Everyone is happy.

My told my fiance that I didn’t really like flowers. He got me a chocolate covered strawberry bouquet for my birthday and has done for that for three years, never lower your standards if he is worthy he will find something that suits you and he will listen to you when you say something.

He bought me (him) a $700 synthesizer with my money. I wanted a $200 bass guitar. He said I'd get more use out of the synth. I played it twice before he broke it. I've gotten a lot more use out of the bass I bought myself after I left him

Ive never liked roses, I prefer wildflowers, if I get roses I prefer them mixed with sunflowers. he always got me roses outside of the one time. I thought he finally listened but instead my son, who was newly 3 at the time and doesn't know my favorite flowers, picked a boquet of wildflowers. I cherished those more than any of the others
