Joel didn't die. 😝 :
The whole point of Ellie's reservations with coming out to Joel, is that they're not true. SHE was scared, but HE had never shown any signs that he wouldn't accept her. A huge part of the second game, for everybody, is acceptance and love conquering over all. The show erases that too 😭
