Back in the day have you ever used the cup cutter that you had to pound each side down with a rubber mallet and if you had dry greens or clay in greens almost impossible to get that cup down far enough

Par aide cup cutters for the win! We have slightly newer model that looks like the old one with a leveling bubble on the handle. Thing is amazing

Even as a superintendent one of my favorite things to do was to sharpen the edges on the ol’ Par Aide and go out and cut cups

Also use same old school but been thinking about something new like HIO or drill. Family owned and operated with push up greens, we are getting older and could use the easier methods but cost is always an issue. Love the content

Haven’t changed cups in ten years (been out of the business since 2016) but would never use anything other than a par aide.

Picked up a PAR aide HIO last year, we have pushup greens and it has cut down on my setup time by at least half. Yes its heavy and not the best for alot of conditions. But works for me.

We use the old school, but also just recently got the HiO from Par west, very heavy but so much less pounding to the the cutter flush.
