![ad BOYS BEDROOM FOR UNDER £200 @dunelmuk When @dunelmuk asked me to team up on a bedroom makeover, I jumped at the chance to show just how much you can transform a space on a budget! Panelling, wallpaper and paint - all for under £200! 🙌🏻 As many of you know I am a neutrals girl but as this is Charlie’s room I wanted to give him some colour.🩵 Here are a few of my little hacks and tips!!! Dunelm aka geniuses 🙌 🤣 created a feature wall panelling kit for £14 that is already pre cut to the perfect height for a behind the bed which means you will need to do minimal actual DIY- we work smarter over here not harder! 💁♀️ Took me less than an hour to get it up as I just needed to trim 2 pieces of wood. That was it!! So easy! Wallpapering - my top tip on this is just give it a go and don’t be scared of it- because you can manipulate it so much once it’s up so if you make a mistake don’t panic just peel it straight back off and start again! And this stripe wallpaper is perfect for beginners because there is no pattern to match which is the hardest part eliminated! And finally if you want to make your doors or a piece of furniture look high end I can’t recommend hand painting them enough! It will cost you basically nothing and those doors - I absolutely hated - but they look absolutely stunning with a coat of primer and Dunelm’s eggshell paint in ashley blue!😍😍😍 follow along for part 2 to see the finished room.
