In my opinion it’s a very effective tool to keep the crime down and prevent people from being harmed but the issue is the constitution itself it’s not fair to anyone they need to make changes to it so that it is fair for everyone and that nobody is above the law. Remember just because someone has their rights doesn’t mean they are above the law and the constitution protects them from being punished there is no fairness when it comes from the constitution itself if it keeps protecting the criminals from being prosecuted.

stop and frisk is unconstitutional. simple as that. we have protections from unlawful searches and seziers. if you have actual evidence that some one could be carrying a gun where it is illegal then you can search them but gut instinct and someone touching their hip is not evidence. and the police did over use it. and they do to majority of black or minorities. in poor neighborhoods. and they would use it to stretch people for more then gun crimes. they would frisk people and find small amounts of weed and arrest them when they had no probable cause to ever think it was there in the first place
