@pubity: 🐱 Cats are drawn to small moving objects due to a hardwired predatory response that activates regardless of context, meaning a chess piece and a mouse trigger the exact same neural pathway in their brain. Research shows domestic cats spend up to six hours a day in a state of low level prey monitoring, scanning their environment for anything that moves, wobbles, or makes noise. She didn’t learn chess. She just realized the board was full of tiny prey and decided to handle it personally. #RoadTo19M #Pubity (Via Collab)
