@visainterviewcoach: Applying for an F1 student visa in 2026? 🎓 One of the MOST common questions you’ll get is: “What will you do after graduation?” — and here’s the truth most people get wrong 👇 You don’t need to have your entire future figured out. In fact, sounding too certain can actually hurt you. Visa officers talk to thousands of applicants. When an 18-year-old gives a perfectly scripted, hyper-specific career plan… it often feels rehearsed, not real. 💡 The better approach: Talk about your interests, not a rigid plan. Instead of: ❌ “I will return home and become a management consultant at X company…” Try: ✅ “I’m really interested in FinTech, so I might work in investment banking, or possibly start my own business.” This shows: ✔ You’ve thought about your future ✔ You’re flexible and realistic ✔ You sound authentic — not scripted And that authenticity matters more than perfection. I’m a former visa officer, and this is exactly the kind of answer that builds trust in an interview. 👉 Want personalized help?
