Pemerintah menilai posisi strategis di dataran tinggi ini justru menjadi keunggulan tersendiri: selain mendatangkan pengunjung, hal ini sekaligus membuka peluang usaha baru bagi warga sekitar. Memanfaatkan potensi lokal dan pemandangan alam yang indah, koperasi diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi pusat pelayanan ekonomi desa, tapi juga menjadi penggerak ekonomi berbasis pariwisata. Eddy Sulistiyo Bramianto menyampaikan bahwa koperasi di lokasi terpencil seperti ini harus terus berinovasi sesuai potensi daerah.
