I had a similar experience. Our elderly neighbour nicknamed rocky, we called her that becoz we caught her throwing rocks at our dog. She use to crouch under her lemon tree watching our house at 1am. I remember hearing something outside the window and all I remember seeing was Rocky’s white hair and white face staring at me like in a trance. I asked her if she was ok, she crawled out from under the lemon tree and pretended she didn’t hear me and walked away. Next morning I asked her if she was ok and she just said what are you talking about? I was asleep at the time and you must be seeing things. We moved out a year later coz we got tired of her denying that it wasn’t her every night. Scary!!
