it's insane because I'm not even a good artist and someone accused me of using AI. because I used orange as my base colour. I was replicating the covers of those old Batmanga comics where they used orange. I thought people would say unmotivated lines (I add lines until I'm happy) weirdly symmetrical (I used the mirror tool) or how I messed up a proportion. but the only thing they had was "it's orange"

showing snippets of slowed down close ups really show it's not AI. when it's from afar and fast it looks like a white layer is being erased to show an already finished piece, that's why it feels like it's a fake time lapse. but looking up close and slower we can see the image doesn't instantly come from underneath, we can see decisions being made with each stroke, it's just that you work on a really small area at a time and it doesn't show from afar.

i know the stuff about “appears” because it fast but the mouth, eyes and teeth look traced for sure which is not bad. You are clearly extremely talented i just think it should be more normalised for ppl to not be ashamed of tracing something which is not somone else’s art
