I worked at Starbucks right after I got out of the marines. I was in the pickup window at this very soft spoken lady asked me for a straw. I didn’t hear her and I said WHAT? I thought I said it in a very normal tone at a reasonable volume… my coworkers informed me that I yelled at that poor lady 😭
