This is the same thing with hiring people. Most of the time it’s cheaper to give employees their raise then fire them and spend time getting a replacement and losing out on productivity

I guaranteed rent stability for as long as they stay. It works nice. I could rent for more but having good tenants is worth it

I also don't understand the concept of raising the rent when the landlord still has the asset when you move out and it has appreciated in value So you paid his mortgage and then he gets an inflated asset when you move out.

U would think all landlords will understand this, but they just don’t get it. I’ve been in my home for five years. They have raised the rent every single year this year. I am moving out because they’re raising the rent again standard a duplex the downstairs that they continuously raise the rent has seen three new tenants since I’ve been living here😳
