@tanner.the.electrician: Y’all keep saying 3-Point Saddles are hard to pull wire through. I’m not sure where that idea came from. It seems to pull just fine to me. #electrician #conduit #ideal #LearnOnTikTok

it's about the internal friction not the total degrees of bends, the way the friction is applied to the wire a 3 point saddle is worse than a single 90...you can pull a wire through 10' of dr Seuss's pipe but try and do that over 100' and it's a different story

you had fish tape and less than 10 ft of pipe, I dont think thats a fair comparison

Man I think your being disingenuous. it becomes more difficult to pull through the longer the run, as well as the length/depth of the saddle. but nice work putting those 5 saddles and a 90 on a single conduit 👌

Clearly you have never pulled a full band of wire through conduit.I'm gonna tell you, dude. It's harder than you think, especially when you get into the commercial industry

90⁰ of bends in a saddle vs 1 90⁰ is not the same. 3 points of contact inside the saddle vs 1 point in your elbow. Less friction makes for easier pull.

I’d rather pull through a back to back 90 than a 3pt.

Real ones know that length of the run makes it equally as hard as total degrees of bend

ok... add 50' of pipe to the end of that and see if you can get the fish tape through... then add another 20'... you'll start to see the bigger picture... proximity to the pull point matters a lot
