@jeremystoomuch: ‼️ If your hair smells off after you curl it, it’s probably not your products, it’s buildup on your curling iron, and that buildup is basically layers of old hairspray, oils, and product that have been heated over and over again, so every time you use your iron you’re reheating that residue and pressing it into clean hair which can make it smell weird and look dull, the fix is super simple, turn your iron on for about a minute, unplug it, then wipe the barrel with a cloth and a little rubbing alcohol, and if it’s really stuck on just use a tiny bit of baking soda paste to lift it, just don’t use anything abrasive because you can damage the barrel, clean tools make a huge difference in how your hair looks and smells after styling ✨ #haircurler #haireducation #hairtips #haircurler #damagedhair
