I went to petco once when I was young and they wouldn't sell me a fish. I was angry at the time but looking back boys I'm very grateful that lady was protecting the fish like that

I’ve kept freshwater fish on and off for 40 years, granted nothing fancy and never had a professional assess my tank. I’ve never had a problem keeping fish/plants/tank alive and that’s from tap water. All I do is warm, cycle for a few weeks, condition, then float them an hour or so.. ppl make things even more complicated than when we didn’t have all the answers at our fingertips.

it takes about a week for good stuff to be in the water for the fish. salt water are too expensive to gamble with... I knew a man who made custom tanks. his entire living room wall was a giant salt water aquarium. it was amazing, we got to do sleepovers in the living room AND he had an Addams Family pinball machine. it was my friend's step dad Keith ❤️good guy
