It should be linked to how well soundproofed the property is 😬 My last flat was a period conversion, the downstairs neighbour had two dogs that used to drive me nuts as they would bark and howl non-stop all day long when their owners went out. It was one of the main reasons I moved out.

Well the landlord owned the property, if he dont want pets it mean no Pets!! the housing minister can rent his house and allow pets 🙄.

We have that here in Aus and I have mental health issues DVO and the house we moved into was broken into and the landlord still said no so we went to court and we won due to mental health illness - mind you I explained my entire situation and sent a medical letter the reason they said no was because they said a 11 year old dog that comes to work with me every day said she would cause damage more than our bond hence why we went to court
