@shadowguide.berlin: Controversial art can still be found in a children’s playground in Berlin. The bronze sculpture “Eagle’s Nest with Clutch/Eggs” by Max Esser is a monument located in a residential area since 1935. Why is this object on display? This artwork dates from the period of NS-dictatorship. The swastika — a symbol of tyranny — originally appeared on the monument but was removed after 1945, as its public display is prohibited in Germany today due to its association with exclusion, hatred, and violence. The sculpture remains on display because it is considered part of German history and is protected under heritage preservation laws. There are ongoing discussions about its future. Despite legal protection, the monument has been vandalized multiple times. #berlin #germany #ww2
do have a transcript or message in the side of the statue? I try to find the meaning in internet but I can't find it. In my personal opinion I thing the meaning is protect family and nation.
