NEVER, EVER put pillows on the floor! If I worked there I would be more annoyed if the guests have removed the pillow case and put the pillows on the floor. Then I rather do it my self knowing that the pillows never have touched the floor.

I dont strip the beds but all the towels in the bath, rubbish in the bin, clean the cups, wipe any mess thats been made etc

maybe im bad but I feel I pay to go away for a break. I never leave mess or rubbish but I don't strip beds. I leave it as I found it

If you strip a bed fold the bedding end of the bed and duvet and pillows on the bed as other people don’t remove shoes and the floor is not hygienic.

I don’t strip beds, anywhere. I do make sure it’s tidy though, place all rubbish in the bin, put everything back where I found it, and towels in a pile. But, no I don’t want to know what the duvet, pillows and mattress look like under the sheets! I’d rather not know!

I work in a hotel, when guests strip the beds the HK are so grateful especially if it’s a busy day, we leave pillows and duvet on the bed folded and dirty linen in the corner by the door, consumables are expected to be used/taken

Always clean up after a stay anywhere! I think it’s just common courtesy isn’t it. And if I have extra rubbish etc I make sure it’s bagged up x

coming from someone who used to clean air bnb’s I think once you do a job like that you know how much work a cleaner has to do so u try to take some of the work load off that person so all they have left to do is vacuum, mop, dust make up beds then put out towels etc

As an airbnb host, I prefer guests don’t strip the beds, as hard to find the spots that need extra treatment before wash.

I strip the bed. Fold the sheets etc. put the duvet and pillows in a neat pile on the bed. Towels go in the bath or shower. I tie up all the bin bags.

Strip the beds but leave the pillows and duvet on the bed not the floor, put all rubbish in one bin bag and put in the bin if there's one outside. All washing is put in the bath/showe

Do people not stay in a hotel and pay the premium to not do the jobs they would have to do at home? Like isn’t the cleaning included in the fee for the room? I would never leave a room in a mess but I wouldn’t clean or strip the beds

I was indifferent on guest stripping the bed. I have to go through the sheets to make sure nothing is in them anyways. Plus stripping the bed is the easiest part. I’d be ripping them off like the table cloth of a table full of glassware. Wet towels in the tub,garbage in the can, now we’re talking.
