The only thing I disagree with is the $100 dollar limit, seems cumbersome. I would say $500 for any necessities, and then for non-essentials there should be fun money to set aside, idgaf if my partner saves and buys something for herself, likewise needing to run my yearly $300-400 video game by her seems cumbersome

Just a quick observation…. I agree with everything being equal and shared as you do. With that being said, I wouldn’t refer to it as “my retirement” since as you said, it should be “our” retirement.
