So the Trans Community was up in arms over LaVerne Cox dating a conservative man (at some point knowingly) she’s put herself on the chopping block and allows some community members to essentially read her. It’s amazing. First of all, I love the level of accountability that LaVerne displays. She’s able to listen and hold space for the community’s variety of opinions. She’s able to hold herself gracefully at the same time; giving herself time and space to share the wisdom she now knows as well as honoring the woman who didn’t know better at the time. I’m SOOOO overly here for this clip. There were SO MANY BEYONDDD extraordinary clips in this one episode.
