You are right. And networking starts at your level. People often think it is when they meet people higher than then at that is false. It starts at being friends with people at your level. Even if you are a corper, be friends with people in your CDS and PPA. Show up for them in your own little way. This will sharpen your social skills. Making money is a social activity.
