@humanebroward: She’s looks so sad 🥺💔 Lua is a gentle soul who hasn’t had an easy start to her life 😔 This 2-year-old sweetheart shows signs of a lifetime of neglect with her thinning hair and flea-bitten skin… she also appears to have had puppies at some point ❤️‍🩹 Even though she is safe in our shelter now, she seems unsure that a good life is out there for her 🥺 Despite everything she’s been through, she hasn’t let it take away her gentle nature 💛 Lua is incredibly calm, quiet, and well-mannered. She walks nicely on a leash and seems content simply being close to us. She enjoys gentle pets and companionship more than anything and isn’t quite interested in treats yet, which suggests she may still be adjusting and learning what it means to feel safe ❤️‍🩹 When she spotted another dog outside, she became excited and playful... hinting that she may do well with canine companions ❤️ Lua would thrive with a loving family that’s willing to give her the time, care, and comfort she deserves. With patience and love, this beautiful girl is ready to blossom into a devoted companion.
