@polkalshishani: O Allah grant us the title of Shaheed Shamil Basayev (1965–2006) was a prominent Chechen military and political leader who rose to power during the collapse of the Soviet Union. After gaining experience in the Nagorno-Karabakh and Abkhazian conflicts, he became a central figure in the Chechen Wars, eventually serving as the Vice-Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. Despite losing his right foot to a landmine during the retreat from Grozny in 2000, he continued to lead armed resistance across the North Caucasus for several more years. His life came to an end on July 10, 2006, in Ingushetia, when he was killed in a massive truck explosion within his convoy. #chechen#caucasus#noxchi
