i did everything from education career to illness and making her healthy hamdulliah i was there and am proud i did it, my role and as per islam my dad taught me to provide,protect, being responsbile and sensible in making career and home, my mom taught me chores and all duties that women do and man should be share equally, i wish she could understand me its ok may she live peacefully and happy life

Could you clarify the allowance? Where are you getting that it is a right to provide one? I thought providing nafaqah could be paying for everything or giving the money, but that you aren't required to pay an allowance if you already provide everything

I work full time with 3 kids and pay 50/50 when it comes to food and bills with my husband and I pay for the things I want and need for myself as well the kids things not to mention doing the cooking, cleaning and childcare. We can’t even afford to live together as a family and as a result I’ve had to move back into my mum’s place with the kids.
